Step 3

Review Energy Audit & Sign Forms

Please allow us a few days to provide the energy audit and forms for you to sign. Once complete, we’ll submit your application to the USDA and cc you.

Eligibility Requirements
  1. Over 50% of applicant’s income must be from agriculture
  2. Pumps must be used for irrigating agricultural crops
  3. Overall Pumping Efficiency should be less than 50%
  4. Pump efficiency test performed within the past 2 years for each pump
    • See Fresno State’s APEP website for test subsidies within PG&E territory
  5. Projects are either:
    • Located in a Distressed/Disadvantaged Community. Check locations HERE
      • – OR –
    • Below $40,000 in total cost
  6. Projects have NOT been started yet, including neither paying deposit to retrofit company nor pulling pump from well.
    • Project can be started as soon as USDA completes the Environmental Review
    • If awarded, projects have 2 years to be installed
  7. Projects are located in California
